Since Christmas here, on the other side of the pass they had about a foot one the ground last week.
Since the snow has been coming in from two directions I got curious, now that it's getting light out, and looked out the door so I could see the porch and walkway. There is snow caked all over the entire surface of everything on the porch, about two inches, and at the bottom of the porch steps is a really wild drift with razor sharp peaks. I can walk between it and the wall, amazingly. The drift is about thigh high and more snow than I plan to mess with.
Even though we got about a foot, it may all be in South Dakota by tomorrow!
