One thing you might ask yourself, is what would he have you do? After Forty-Four years I bet you can figure out what he'd say if you think about it. Not only will you find comfort there, but also in the realization that you carry so much of him with you in the process.
I send hugs and hope along with wishes for more peaceful tomorrows.
