(4,840 posts)28. of course, being a totally natural process,
a natural reincarnation would not be subject to the dictates of karma. The evil would have just as much chance as a good person to be reincarnated as a butterfly but isn't Buddhism ultimately about forgiving everything anyway?

Reincarnation is very important in Mahayana Buddhism, and reincarnation requires faith.

Reincarnation does not require gods, so atheism and reincarnation can be compatible.
