differences are very pronounced!

The freedom to make choices is personal , the options (freedoms) to choose from is social.

I’ve read Lao Tsu and the Tao and used to be a regular TM’er. No doubt that desires cause suffering, but I’ll never be convinced that we are free while we are constrained to live in groups of physical beings.

I am also not convinced that there is an afterlife.
