1. is hope still audacious?

I don't know what to do with my bit of hope; it is so precious to me that I fear linking it to this recount biz. But you can't cite the results or the effects of previous recounts, because, kid, we are in a new dynamic. We wanted change, right? We got it. Maybe, just hoping, it's a slower change in-process, and we will end up with a president who was dirty-tricked out of her initial win.
Is anyone else newly cautious doling out the hope?
