I voted for Hillary. My union is a very large one that represents many low paid workers. I don't know how the union came out in the vote, but I do know some things. I have not always been a union member, but came to a union position after 30 years of nonunion. I was always very pro-union. That said, I am appalled at the total lack of attention my union gives to its members. Frankly, I have no idea what they do all day. They complain about lack of membership at my workplace, but where are they? I had to seek them out in order to join. They seem to spend as little time as possible communicating with us. Kind of like our management. If this is the way other large unions act? Unionism is dead and they brought it on themselves. They do not use their position to educate their workers.
