(3,574 posts)My support of my local Occupy consists of dropping off hot pizza and doughnuts when I can afford to do so, carrying a sign around the block, and other small items as I can afford. I felt bad, they really wanted a perky coffee pot, and I just couldn't find one. They are getting rare. I imagine I could have found one at the wal mart or somewhere in sporting goods, but theirs were tiny. My Mom had one that was pyrex a long time ago with stainless stem. I had to laugh nobody knew how coffee was made before electric outlets.
Nuthin' wrong with being a Hilbilly, Bob. Hill people know how to fend for themselves. (God I love bluegrass.) I remember a musician whose students asked him the difference between Hillbilly and folk music. He answered, "Hillbillies sing louder".
