I watched the videos and I'm pretty pissed no one got arrested for breaking down barricades and then lugging them to the White House.

However, after I counted to 1000 about ten times due to my anger about this I tried to sit back and say, hmmm. What great TV for Cruz, Palin and their ilk if a riot force had been brought in to "control" what was supposed to be a peaceful non-partisan veterans march and rally. It got hi-jacked by the Tea Baggers. I think the Tea Baggers would have been ecstatic if it turned into a mass riot with mass arrests. They could have crowed about how Obama is treating veterans by arresting them. They'd be saying he not only doesn't respect their service but he doesn't respect their 1st Amendment rights to assemble and free speech. That would be played non-stop on FAUX and some of the other "liberal" media.

The President, the Democrats in Congress don't need that right now. They need to continue to be seen as taking the, somewhat, higher road.

So, yes, it sucks that Occupy has suffered all the mace, pepper spray and tasers and no one tasered Palin's stupid ass. But I think, as strategy, that's best for right now. Just my non-inflation, adjusted 2 cents.
