5. Here is a way (you only need the beginning of a name)

Go to your inbox.
Type in the beginning of the user's name and click the "Find Member" button.
Click the link to show partial matches.
The member's name should appear on the list.
Click on the name (NOT on the "Send DU Mail" )
This will take you to the member's profile
Scroll down and click on the link for their last post.
Once you have that post on display, you can send a heart via the link at the bottom.

Sounds complicated, but try it.
