Then, if I get an error, I paste it back in until it doesn't error. Just the act of cutting it at least backs it up temporarily. Be careful, because sometimes when I get an error the post was actually made. So when I post again, I sometimes realize there are now duplicates. Chrome also saves it so if I back up, it's usually still there.
