2. I'm just wondering why a local urban politician needs to get involved nationally.

I am still seething over outside $$$ that contributed (nobody will ever know how much) to a disgusting Proposition in my state that was pure hate.

NYC is not Missoula, MT. Los Angeles is not Juneau, AK. And California is not Utah.


If Bloomberg was smart he would have put somebody else behind the push. After taking on soft drinks that weren't sold by his corporate favorites, and getting slapped down by a judge for it, he doesn't have the best image to a red-state Senator's constituency.
