6. Gov O'Malley was term limited.

In Maryland, a governor can only serve two 4 year terms.

Other things, he worked in getting Senator Mikulski elected. While he was in LAw SChool, he worked as her State filed director for her first primary campaign. He was also her director for her general election, which we all know by now, she won!

He worked for her office for two years after that, before deciding to return to Baltimore.

Before all that, he worked for Gary Hart.
