24. Completely agree - the tone, quiet competence and compassion, was perfect

This is the first time that I can say that I see him as the President he will be. That usually happens after someone becomes the nominee - or at least when no formerly viable rival is running.

Here, I suspect it might be that I, like many, need a leader I trust as we face serious issues. In 2008, it was conceivable that even though Democrats were favored that McCain could win -- until we saw both of them respond to the economic crisis. That was when I was 100% sure there would be a President Obama. The virus is even more personally threatening. My siblings and I - all healthy and between 58 and 69 - were a bit surprised to be "the elderly" and worry more about our 90 plus year old parents. I suspect that people far younger than me are unsettled as their parents or grandparents are threatened.

We have seen how badly Trump is failing on this. Yesterday's speech and a promised upcoming speech in Delaware show or will show how Biden can do in that role. I don't know how Sanders gets a comparable opportunity after he went silent yesterday.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden
