which is to get citizens to expect more for their tax monies - and from their leaders.

He worked to change the discussion because even when voters elected a Dem prez and gave Dems both houses, the people did not get the serious structural change that is necessary to put this country back on track.

Sure, Dems throw more crumbs than RepubliCONs but it hasn’t been enough. And that unwillingness to put people and planet above all else has helped create the mess we’re in. Bernie has inspired people to think bigger so that we can solve the enormous problems that face us. Too bad some here don’t get it, but more of the same ain’t gonna dig us out of this hole.
