(42,862 posts)Meanwhile, his top paid campaign staffers continue their scorched-earth policy in an effort to kneecap Joe Biden... trying to weaken him and destroy his chances against Trump. The toxic accusations of being senile continue to ooze out of their pores. They're doing Trump's dirty work for him. They're weakening our party by creating divisions and resentment and distrust. They continue to dissuade voters from supporting the Democratic party with insinuations (and outright accusations) that the party is "corrupt" and that the election is "rigged" and that the DNC is intentionally disenfranchising college voters (which is total bullshit by the way, because the lines were for same-day registration, of those who couldn't even be bothered to register as a responsible person would do, the voting lines were moving smoothly, Brianna).
What I'm trying to say is this: The lies and smears and attacks only serve to create an atmosphere of negativity: Negativity generates apathy. Apathy discourages voter turnout. Low voter turnout gives Republicans a chance to steal the elections.
primary today, I would vote for: Joe Biden
