Democratic Primaries
Showing Original Post only (View all)Senator Sanders could stand to take a lesson from Senator Warren on the Coronavirus bill vote [View all]
Warren didn't sit it out and avoid taking action on the first vote, despite the fact that it wasn't everything that she wanted it to be, because we need action and leadership from Democrats NOW. She didn't just roll over and vote yes or go AWOL on the vote for the first version, and she didn't make perfect the enemy of doable.
She showed up and did her damn job during an emergency, and then explained why she voted for the package that was not all that Democrats wanted and what she's doing moving forward.
This is what Presidential looks like:
She also didn't take credit for single-handedly "influencing GOP senators" or work on the bill that she didn't actually do....
If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for: Joe Biden

Bernie doesn't do jobs. He just shouts about the most ideal outcome and accomplishes nothing.
