17. Well, it is not as if the Jill Stein voters on Sanders' staff

sneaked (or is it snuck) into his offices in the dead of night and took over. He hired them at the very beginning of his primary campaign, knowing full well that they were not Democratic voters. Who knows if they would even vote for Bernie, if it came to that?

He hired an odd assortment of Steiners and other non-Democrats to staff his campaign. That was the first thing that set off alarm bells in my addled old brain. And, then, he turned them loose to run roughshod over normal primary politics.

Bernie not only hired them, but left them to act as they saw fit on his behalf, with little or no leadership from the busy Senator. "Who ARE those people?" was an oft-asked question from life-long Democrats.

That question is still apt. What will become of those staffers once Senator Sanders finally awakens to the reality that he will, once again, not be on the General Election ballot. Where will they go? What will they do? Who will they support? What will they tweet? Who will be their new Jill Stein?

So many questions.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden
