(96,043 posts)Everyone is welcome to support Mr. Biden. That is all anyone who supports him wants: for everyone to profess support for him, and to act in support of him. Profession of support means little without actions in support. It is not my habit to cite Scripture, but the Epistle of James makes the sound point that profession of faith means little without works to show for it. Some activities simply are not compatible with supporting Mr. Biden, and people who have engaged in them ought not to have any difficulty forswearing them in future. Anyone who has had occasion to mend a familial or marital rift will be quite aware of this basic fact of human behavior, that for forgiveness and amnesty and the restoration of peace, behavior must change, and the destructive behaviors causing the rift must cease, and be seen to cease.
"When things are not called by their right names, what is said cannot make sense. When what is said does not make sense, what is planned cannot succeed. When plans do not succeed, people become uneasy. When people are uneasy, punishments do not fit crimes. When punishments do not fit crimes, people cannot know where to put hand or foot."
primary today, I would vote for: Joe Biden
