(1,803 posts)Look at Wisconsin. Most, if not virtually all Democrats will vote this cycle just to remove Trump, irrespective of the Democratic Candidate. Sure there are some who will gripe about Bernie not winning the primary and some of his supporters are threatening not to vote. But it will be a very slim number. I personally think Biden does best with Whitmer as his running mate. Whitmer can help to deliver a battleground State, and is not another Democrat from the Northeast. But Biden already committed to a female minority, and I can see him going with Stacey Abrams or Kamala Harris.
Also, Warren is productive in the Senate. Would we want to risk losing her seat when we have a solid shot of gaining a majority? Keep in mind that Massachusetts gave us Mitt Romney, and elected Republican Charlie Baker as it’s current Governor. I like the sure thing.
