as I don't watch her show (or much of any other of what I call the "Infotainment" Media). I know many here like her and I do respect her talents, but I can keep up without the talking heads.

As to him being treated differently, that is most certainly the case. I do find him able to dodge the "Gotcha" moments very well and deliver very reasonable answers to the questions behind the question being asked. Again he is running 3-4 steps of most everybody and that included those interviewing him from what I have seen.
