We have been dumbing down our own society for far too long in regards to the rest of the world at the altar of selling everything while promoting that "ignorance actually is bliss;" which in turn makes promoting mindless fear, and racism a snap.

That breeds tribalism; which taken to its' zenith or nadir depending on how you view it brought us World War I; and all that tragedy spawned to date.
