party leaders not do the simplest of vetting on candidates to any office, much less to such a high one? Doesn't anyone notice that the person does not have a history of supporting Democratic principles, morals, ethics, caring for others, talking with the leaders about right and wrong? Egad!

I know those around me and whether they are long-time believers in doing what is right, have a history of donating themselves not just their money to justice and have the qualities, not just the mouth, to do something good. Did nobody notice that he wasn't a "sleeper spy" recruited 20 years ago but just a sudden-appearing Democratic "champion"?
