7. I don't think the Syrian people have a say in the matter.

This is not an organic, home-grown "revolution". Far from it, sadly.

Syria is just a pawn in a much larger game, and its people are as unfortunate as the Palestinians who are about to become even more unfortunate, if that is even possible.

And Syria will be balkanized, "neutralized", broken even more and the spoils/land divided amongst three bigger powers.

And the neo-cons' decades-old plan is a lot closer to becoming reality.

Hurray for Assad falling but for nothing else, imo.
