40 years ago, we cared about the world: "We are the World"... (USA for Africa) [View all]

--now with USAID demolished, we will let the world die... As one who worked a lot on public health interventions overseas, I am so devastated right now, I can barely function. So when I woke up with Netflix on my iPad and saw the recommendation for the documentary on the making of "We Are the World," I did not ignore the 'cosmic' nudge.

Such a different time. We have lost so much in such a short time--and so many. So too the world in coming days, weeks, months. I dare you to watch without
