The market is slowly working towards bear markets. It will almost certainly reach into a bear market. Hiw deep is anyones guess. Many companies are now revising guidance as predicted. There is almost no positive news on the horizon. Expect a chilly Spring quarter.

The promised tax cut is not a tax cut, but a tax extension. In that sense it is unlikely to drive the markets up.
