48. Dad was summed to testify to Congressional Committees,, BUT ALWAYS....

Dad was summoned to testify to various Congressional hearings,

BUT from what I have found in the public records,
He was indeed originally summoned to testify,
BUT as far as I know…..it was then ALWAYS CANCELLED.
so he never testified in public.

I assume he likely did testify in private,


Even years later, when the Iron Curtain fell,
My parents visited Czechoslovakia,,,
He still had to get the ‘ok’ to travel to a former Soviet
country, apparently approved first from WashDC (NSA?)

And when he got to Prague,,, GUESS WHAT?

APPARENTLY even though Soviets were no longer,
Some KGB type person or persons followed my father everywhere
Mom and Dad went…..to museums…..followed…..to Brno….followed
I guess the KGB still was ‘interested’ to know what he was doing there.
