58. What my sister told me....re Jordon

Again my sister tends to exaggerate,,,
But I believe her in this instance…..

She went to Rice University, and a classmate/friend of hers was
from Jordon.

At Rice University graduation the parents from Jordon
greeted my parents — and of course the Jordon father knew
my father by name, apparently very well.

Think he was the equivalent of the US Attorney General,
But called by another govt title in Jordon.

Later my sister said she was told by that Jordanian father something like this
After my father left for awhile……….

‘I can’t tell you how much the country of Jordon owes him for all he has done to help Jordon’

Or he said something like that.

I guess I believe my sister,
And I was indeed aware my father was in Jordan many times
And knew that King Hussein (who died years ago)
