I'm betting that, at most, you deprived folks who work outside in the winter (farmers, mail carriers, road crew, etc.) of needed protection. I'm sure glad you couldn't find pepper spray or something to slit it with.

I get the impulse, but as someone who grew up walking a mile to school in the bitter cold and wind - not cool.
