(5,326 posts)of those who ARE---- We ran female candidates against Trump two times,
and lost the election (so far as we know) BOTH of those times---
but WON the election in-between where we nominated a male....
Thinking OUTSIDE of THAT box---
2028 might indeed be our BEST chance to elect a female President
for the first time, with everyone HATING on Trump and Republicans so much---
but we might be too afraid to try it.... Taking BACK the White House AND Congress
seems more important at this critical point in history,
than trying to 'break the glass ceiling'.... know what I mean ?
Now, if we could get enough women who are married to Republican men
to ignore their orders, and vote for the female candidate instead,
then that might change the calculus entirely.....
I think Democratic women are braver than Democratic men
(and us Democratic men are fewer in numbers)---
but if a Democratic woman is nominated for President in 2028,
I will do all that I can do to support her!!!
(I can't say that I will support any woman in the presidential primaries---
since I am fearful of that idea, and not committed to ANYONE at this point..)
