(before then I was using Sludge's site as a "portal" since he had a pile of links to the major news outlets and then I found DU not only had news posted but also had a pile of links to many liberal news and blog sites - although the guys couldn't keep up with all the URL changes and stopped featuring those links).
I know I haven't had the TV on since the election but generally "read my news" (or listen to it on the radio).
And then as a sidenote, back when I was in college (and was a member of my college's radio station), my last semester senior year, I was given the Friday afternoon "drive time" (5 pm - 5:30 pm) news show and for that, I spent 4 hours gathering news (like I do here) to read over the air. The station had a sub to AP's wire service (the old teletype) and I would grab the printouts with news stories and go through their schedules for when they would send their audio feeds OTA so I could tune those in at the proper time to record on carts for later broadcast. It was a pretty fascinating side-hobby (as a chem major)!
