(10,271 posts)157. We are on season three now....thanks for not spoiling the Tracy/Gordo events to come later. My DW grew up
in Pasadena and she went to Sam Rayburn HS built after the influx of people moved to Timber Cove/Clear Lake back then. Her folks played golf with friends that lived next door to John Glenn. Bringing back lots of memories - slide rules, double hump vettes, etc. Kinda sad to see so much privatized these days and you bever hear much about the Space program anymore. Those were hopeful and exciting days except for Vietnam.
