3. There have been several Little Mermaid remakes since Disney's first version, not all by Disney

Here's a link to IMDB.com with a list. I hadn't really been paying attention, but Disney did a TV series AND a "The Little Mermaid Live!" version in the years since the '89 one. A separate film was also done in 2018 that wasn't Disney and didn't bear much relation to the Disney version.
