namely Connie Willis, her husband Courtney, and their daughter Cordelia. If the name doesn't ring a bell, google her.

In the science fiction world she's extremely well known. Outside, not so much. It was absolutely fascinating to watch her chat with people who had no idea who she is. They only saw a very nice older lady talking with them.

I've been trying to figure out how to get a picture of her here, and cannot figure it out. Sigh. But Connie is an amazing and wonderful person. Eclipses are amazing and wonderful. 2017 was my first ever total eclipse, and I finally understood why people who can, will chase eclipses around the world.
