22. Well, thanks for everything, we've exhausted it all. I just finished the Malware scan, 36 minutes.

I didn't know what to expect at the beginning so while it was looking for its own updates it looked like nothing was happening for a long time, but finally it went along step by step.

It didn't find anything for most of the early steps until it finally found 21 in Registry, then another 6 in File System, then it popped up to 1,087 or so and finally quarantined them. Fine.

Then the Restart and back to the browser and guess what, the exact same problem and error message.

So thanks, really, for everything. I guess I'll uninstall the Adobe Flash and see what that stymies me out of.

FWIW, Ancestry.com only works with IE. Were you using another browser? CurtEastPoint Jun 2016 #6
