50. So you have an issue with people making fun of a religion

A thing with no feelings that is often used defend hate and bigotry against non-believers and the lgbtq community; BUT, when a post is made saying there are no atheists in foxholes (insulting and denying the existence of atheists who served and sometimes DIED for their country) you rec it and then post you never heard anyone object to that phrase before?

Religion, like conservatism,is a concept not a person. It has no feelings and has done and continues to do us great harm. From justifying bigotry against us to the use of mental torture in the form of the doctrine of salvation via faith. Some of us had to spend countless nights unable to sleep because of fear that our doubts would cause our souls to be condemned to eternal hellfire and suffering.

Not to mention the near ubiquitousness of how it is constantly shoved down our throats and how we are told we are immoral and devious for not believing! From courthouse monuments to presidents telling us we are not real Americans because this is one nation under God:
