If you logout of DU you can probably see it on your post, but if you login to DU you can't. The URL for avatars is not loading properly, at least for me. It started this morning. Others will be able to see it, you can not if logged in. Here's more info. (I found from another DU'er in a Google search.)

"The html code shows that everyone's avatar is loading from 'www.democraticunderground.com' except for the avatar of the person logged in, which is on 'upload.democraticunderground.com' - which seems to be offline.

So everyone should be able to see other member's avatars but quite possibly not their own (although they likely have a cached version their browser is using).

Strange symptom of 'upload.democraticunderground.com' not responding."

So, it appears to be a DU system problem?
